Today is Caroline's first day of school! She is in the Fours classroom, which makes me a little nervous because for the last two years she has been with the same group of kids who were all within six months of each other, age wise. This year they split that group of kids up and mixed them in with the older four year olds. Since Caroline does not actually turn four until December, this makes her the youngest kid in her new class. She was the youngest kid the last two years also, but the oldest kid was only about six months older than her. Now she is in a class with kids who are already four and some who are about to turn five. She is with her three best friends from the last two years, Beyla, Lorelei and Josh, so I am glad for that, but some of the other kids in her class look like giants compared to her so I am a little nervous to see how things will go. Her teacher, Miss Macy, seems nice and the assistant teacher is an older lady Caroline knows from previous years. Fingers crossed for a great year!
